Marsh, top research scientist at Eli Lilly and Company and faculty member at Indiana University. Marsh's contributions to science are many, and his impact was considerable. His signature appears on the front pastedown, under the jacket flap. . Warren Weaver is probably best known as the coauther of the classic work "The Mathematical Theory of Communication," with Claude Shannon. But he was also known as a major figure in mechanical translation of languages, mathematics and probability theory, the nature and importance of science policy, and Alice in Wonderland, among others.
