A label on the binder spine gives the title, and another label on the front cover names the title, author, date, and studio. A preliminary, half-title page, so faint as to be barely readable, has the words: Twentieth Century Fox Corporation, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, APJAC Productions, Inc., Final Screenplay. . Escape from the Planet of the Apes was directed by Don Taylor with writing credit to Paul Dehn for the screenplay. It starred Roddy McDowell, Kim Hunter, and Bradford Dillman, and was released in 1971. This is an original screenplay, labeled "Final Screenplay" on the title page.
