Free [Hoffman, Abbie] Revolution for the Hell of It SIGNED BY ABBIE HOFFMAN on first endpaper. Ex-library book with the usual stamps and label. No spine label because the backstrip is missing. Covers are firmly taped to endpapers. Covers are heavily rubbed and soiled, endpapers are soiled, title page is torn and taped. The rest of the book is in excellent condition; binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. . SIGNED BY AUTHOR on first endpaper. Front cover features a celebratory Abbie Hoffman who is holding a firearm and leaping in the air with joy. The author, Free, is a thinly disguised Abbie Hoffman. Hoffman was one of 1969's infamous Chicago Eight and Seven, and continued a life of protest until his death by apparent suicide in 1989. This is the first edition, and comes with a letter from the previous owner attesting to the authenticity of the signature.
