Jacket has short review blurbs printed on spine and front cover. Book is in excellent condition, binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. . This is the "Author's Edition," as stated on the dust jacket, with Wright's essay on "How Bigger Was Born" added. It was published the same year as the first printing, 1940. And although it is not anywhere stated or indicated on the book or jacket, it is evidently a book club edition, as there is no price on the jacket.
